開南大學-物流與航運管理學系
Curriculum

Our department offers academic programs covering both the technological and managerial aspects of the shipping, air-transport and logistics profession through both undergraduate and graduate (masters and on-the-job masters) programs. The programs are designed to cater to the academic needs of those who wish to focus their careers on either the operational or the commercial side of shipping and logistics industries. We integrate logistics and supply-chain management with traditional transportation and manufacture-operation management to optimize the use of resources of firms in a logistics network that delivers value to end customers. The program focuses on improving students’ English proficiency, especially as it relates to shipping and logistics management. We maintain close links with the shipping and logistics industries through collaborative projects, have monthly field trips to companies, host lectures by visiting experts on shipping and logistics operations, and offer internship programs with shipping and logistics companies.
